History of Sjóferðir

Sjóferðir ehf is a family business run by Stíg Berg Sophusson and his wife Henný Þrastardóttir. Sjóferðir specializes in passenger transportation around Hornstrandir, Jökulfjörður and Ísafjörður and offers both day trips and scheduled cruises. Stígur has worked in passenger transport since 2006, so despite the fact that Sjóferðir is a young company, the staff of Sjóferðir has a lot of experience and knowledge in the area.
